Job Description: This is a position specifically to audit import entry files. This associate will perform a detailed analysis of each import entry using a check list designed by the Subsea Import Logistics Coordinator.
Required Skills:
Job history and experience in import compliance industry and/or freight broker business. 5-7 years experience in import compliance with following knowledge and skills: Be familiar 19 CFR and all aspects of US Customs entries Be capable of taking direction from the subsea Import coordinator and capable of working independently to accomplish tasks and meet deadlines. Must have a tenacious attitude and good follow-up skills. Must be very detail and goal oriented. Must have excellent knowledge pertaining to valuations, HTS codes, related party transactions, assists, and correct format and procedures for import documentation. Should be able to file post entry amendments, reply to CF28s and audit import entry files. Shows evidence of good organization and planning skills. PC skills including Excel spreadsheet, word processing, Must be capable of handling detailed work and keeping very accurate records. Familiarity with oil field machinery will be of great assistance.
