Job Description: Food production company in Saginaw is looking for a Mixer (Margarine Mix Maker). The company has been in business for over 100 years, and is looking for an experience, independent person to join their team. Food production experience is necessary to apply for this position. This will be a 3rd shift position. Blend together all of necessary dry, wet and refrigerated ingredients to deliver a finished product that meets the clients requirements Preshift preparation (ensure that all surfaces that will contact product are properly sanitized and ready for operation) Follow batch sheet without deviation while mixing product Record data on the Mixer SIS form Make necessary approved adjustments Monitor gauges, equipment, and temperatures Ability to read daily production schedule and process orders in the established squence Constant communication with Spicers, QA, and machine operators Ensure machine operators have produced the correct number of cases for each order Post operation (housekeeping and closing out shift properly) Handoff to sanitation or the next shift General knowledge of how the mixture of adding of certain ingredients will effect the overall product Expected to lead a team of approximately two spicers

Required Skills:
Must have food production experience Excellent organizational skills High School diploma or GED Criminal background check will be processed on each candidate Drug Screen will be required Time Management is a must
