While that may sound weird to you, the truth is their retail division spends a lot of time researching: Color trends Color pallets What the next season or year will trend toward as it relates to color What direction interior designers are heading in? All this research and knowledge of color and color theory is what makes our client's retail division so successful. As of April, for a period of 6 months our client is seeking a professional who can share their knowledge of color internally with their design department as well as on the consumer side. There are a multitude of projects that can arise such as: Ensuring the color pallet on the website is accurate and pleasing to the browser In-Store displays are arranged in a sensible order Following up with consumers to assist with color choices Researching color trends Managing color database Assisting in-house design teams with color choices for design of marketing collateral In addition to providing color support, you may be asked to work directly with the creative team to design and produce product sell sheets, participate in brainstorming sessions and work with PR firms to assist with any media needs.

Required Skills:
Bachelors Degree in Visual Communications, Design or other related field. 5+ years of interior design Software Knowledge: Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator Microsoft Office Experience working with color. Researching color trends and applying those trends to brand identity, target marketing and merchandising. Working knowledge of creative software.
