Responsibilities Provide outstanding service and support to assigned divisions (3 - 5 divisions) when interfacing with various corporate departments. Act as a liaison and advocate for the division between corporate and division. Perform monthly analysis & review of assigned divisions' financial statements, general ledger, job cost information, operations metrics, and assist in the divisional close process as needed. Provide systems, policies and procedures training and ongoing guidance to assigned divisions. Assist divisions in developing the proper accounting treatment for complex and/or unusual transactions. Support assigned divisions during a system conversion. Job Requirements Able to work effectively with all levels of co-workers (clerical to executive management). Customer service mentality as Corporate Accounting is a support department! Able to lead and develop Accounting Assistants Strong professional communication skills and the ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-accountants.
